====== Grus Sector ======

The Grus Sector saw some of the most devastating parts of the [[:timeline#First Tulaki Invasion]]. [[:Dominion]] fleets pushed deep into the sector as they skirted around the more heavily fortified worlds of the [[Betelgeuse Sector]]. For about a fifty years the sector was essentially free from Ascendancy authority and control, and a number of vassal worlds in the sector rebelled, either siding with the Dominion or declaring themselves independent. Although re-taken by the Ascendancy or ceded by the Tulaki during the Armistice, there are about a dozen worlds which remain hotbeds of strife and sedition.
