====== Near Perseus Sector ======

The only part of the Perseus Arm with any Faction presence, the Near Perseus Sector has only been barely explored in its most coreward edge. The sector itself encompasses a drifting cluster of denser stellar material that intrudes into the [[Perseus Rift|Great Perseus Rift]], rather than a part of the Perseus Arm proper. The Commonality has only established a presence here in the past 300 years, by slowly expanding rimward along the [[Empyrean Roots]]. The few colonies here have a frontier feel to them as only a Commonality frontier can - there are just as many hermits and mystics passing through the area as scientists and prospectors.
