+====== Psionic Rituals ======
+Some Psionic powers require a Psionic Ritual as part of their activation, which will be noted in the Effects section of each power. These powers often involve complex and involved uses of psionic power and skill that combine with a physical ceremony that aids with the flow of the mental energies involved.
+How a character performs a Psionic Ritual will vary from character to character and also between different species, each of which has a different “flavour” of psionics and its cultural use. Psionic Rituals are an ideal way to express how your character views and uses their mental powers, and are a good opportunity for roleplaying with other characters involved.
+To perform a ritual, all characters involved in invoking the power must roleplay some form of ceremonial action for the duration of the power’s activation, which could be as short as a minute or much longer. It should be obvious to everyone nearby that you are performing a psionic ritual of some kind - although you do not need to make it obvious what your ritual is, you cannot intentionally perform a ritual which suggests an outcome that is significantly at odds with what you are actually doing. Rituals are not marked or judged in any way. Many of them will require a Ref to be present to administer the outcomes.
