One of the more heavily populated sectors of Ascendancy Space, the Polaris Sector contains many inhabited and active systems. Many of the more well-developed worlds in this sector were founded by inhabitants of Pre-Fall Terran Sleeper Ships, and have been continuously inhabited for several thousand years. Most were integrated swiftly into the Ascendancy on rediscovery, and have been fully part of that Faction for longer than most have records for. The Polaris Sector is relatively close to Commonality Space, and underwent moderate upheaval as part of the Elysian Revelation. No public Elysian presence remains in the sector, but fleets and planetary authorities in the rimward part of the sector remain vigilant for potential infiltration.
