The pollen of the lucidius flower has an invigorating effect on the myelin sheaths of living creatures, and equivalent structures in other sophonts. This speeds up the imbiber's neural activity, allowing them moments of intense focus.

Lucidius Pollen is a type of Exotic Biotic - an Exotic Substance related to Life Science. A physrep of a jar of fine coloured powder can be used to represent a few measures of this substance, but particularly large physreps can hold more.

When applied to a character, a measure of Lucidius Pollen grants a short burst of mental focus, and allows them to use a single special call with a Melee Weapon.

• When using a small weapon, then may call KNOCKOUT(20)
• When using a Medium Weapon they may call LETHAL
• When using a Large Weapon they may call DISARM

Once the call has been used, the effects of this Exotic Biotic fade.

As with all Exotic Substances, a character with at least 1 rank in the relevant speciality (Life Science in this case) can spend 1 minute of appropriate roleplaying to apply 1 measure of Lucidius Pollen to a character. After this roleplaying, they should unpeel the sticker that represents this substance, stick it to the lammie of the item or character sheet of the character, and record the current date on it.

The boost provided by this substance wears off when it is used, or at time-in the following day.
