Stellar Density: Medium to Very Sparse

The only part of the Perseus Arm with any Faction presence, the Near Perseus Sector has only been barely explored in its most coreward edge. The sector itself encompasses a drifting cluster of denser stellar material that intrudes into the Great Perseus Rift, rather than a part of the Perseus Arm proper. The Commonality has only established a presence here in the past 300 years, by slowly expanding rimward along the Empyrean Roots. The few colonies here have a frontier feel to them as only a Commonality frontier can - there are just as many hermits and mystics passing through the area as scientists and prospectors.
